Embassy Information
Bilateral development cooperation between Iceland and Uganda started in 2000 when the Icelandic International Development Agency (ICEIDA - now part of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs) opened a regional office in the capital Kampala. In June 2004 the office was turned into an Icelandic Embassy, further strengthening the relations between the countries.
